About this site and how it is compiled
Still Free? tracks whether the free tiers of 60 developer tools still exist and what their published limits are.
Method
- Every page is compiled by software from the vendor's public pricing or documentation page on the date shown on that page. The current data was read on 2026-10-05.
- The content is AI-assisted: software read each vendor page and extracted the figures. Another script then compares every figure on this site with the extracted data file before the site is published.
- The address of the vendor page that was read is written out as text on each tool page, so you can open it and compare.
- When a vendor page does not give a value, the page says "not stated by the vendor" instead of guessing.
Limits of this information
Vendors change pricing without notice, so anything here can be out of date or wrong. Confirm on the vendor's page before relying on it, above all before building a product or a budget on a free tier. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or purchasing advice.
